Blog Post #5: ” How to Manifest Health In Your Life”
The fifth tip in a five part series: ” Move Your Body”
Our bodies are designed to move. Movement is life. Whether participating in competitive sports, or taking a solitary walk, our bodies were meant to be in motion.
Most Americans lead sedentary lives. We sit for long periods at our jobs, in cars or on the couch.
This leads to a lack of circulation in the body, weight gain, aching joints, and chronic stress, tension, and depressive lethargy get held in the body.
When the body gets exercise, the fluids can flow, the brain gets more oxygen, the joints get lubricated, the excess weight can be lost , inflammation gets sweated out, and a general feeling of joy sets in as serotonin and dopamine rises in the brain, making one feel good after a workout.
How to: Set a comfortable exercise regimen weekly, one that is in tune with what you find pleasurable to engage in. Depending on the person, that could be running, yoga, lifting weights, and so on.
Take Action Steps: For variety, vary your exercise routine on certain days to keep it interesting, and keep you committed in returning to the gym or the running trail.
” Sound mind, sound body” as the ancient Greeks said keeps one fit and sane!
