Our emotions are very pwerful, and we can choose to hold them in or express them in a healthy way.
Emotions are energy in motion, so when you feel anger, fear, sadness, joy, allow this energy to be in motion,
i.e. to move through you like an ocean wave.
How to : Allowing the energy to move through you can be communicated via crying, screaming, laughing, talking things through, etc. This emotional movement releases the energy, so your body and mind can process and disperse it, getting it out of your system.
This releasing is enhanced by simply feeling and being with your emotions without judgment.
Benefits: For example, instead of storing anger in your jaw and shoulders, choose to let it go in a healthy way.
You will feel relaxed, free and in control.
Take Action Steps: Experiment with releasing your emotions often and observe how your body feels afterwards. Keep a journal if you want to record your experiences.
